Residential Services provides housing options based on the needs and desires of the individual. Options include group homes, supervised apartments and supportive living.  The goal of the program is to help individuals live a full and productive life in the community.  Staff support may range from 2 hours per day to 24 hours per day, depending on the assistance an individual may need to live in their own home.

The Arc continues to develop new housing options to meet the needs of our families.  Our housing options include 19 group homes, 37 supervised apartments, 6 supportive living apartments. Included in the 19 group homes are 3 homes for individuals who are medically fragile.  These homes have LPN staffing on site from 8 - 16 hours per day to support ongoing medical needs. The Residential program currently supports 170 individuals throughout Ocean County.

Supportive Living Program

Provided 2-10 hours of support a week to individuals who are independently able to live in their own home. Individuals who reside in this program are able to independently respond to emergencies and manage their own medications.
